Story
The Ports and Harbors Regional Bureau of Health and Welfare's Narcotics Control Department struggles daily to contain the influx of the new drug, "Rouge et Noir."
The Special Operations Division (“SOD”), faced with a severe shortage of personnel, requested the temporary assistance of Rei Kurusu, a forensic officer from the Forensics Division, in the investigation. The task of persuading Kurusu fell to you, a rookie narcotics officer.
Intrigued that you're the "buddy" of fellow SOD narcotics officer, Ryo Makabe, Kurusu agrees to join the investigation—on the condition that you go on a single date with him. Despite being thrown off by Kurusu’s inscrutable nature, you manage to get the investigation underway.
However, an encounter between Kurusu and a "certain someone" soon sends events spiraling in an unforeseen direction…
